•t1.5kg pork shoulder
•t2 tsp smoked paprika
•t1 tsp cumin
•t1 tsp garlic powder
•t1 tsp onion powder
•t1 tsp brown sugar
•t1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
•tSalt and pepper to taste
•t200ml BBQ sauce
•t6 brioche buns
•t200g coleslaw to serve
Directions
- Mix all spices together and rub generously all over the pork shoulder. Leave to marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Preheat oven to 150C (130C fan). Place pork in a deep roasting tray with 200ml water. Cover tightly with foil.
- Slow roast for 3.5 to 4 hours until the meat pulls apart easily with two forks.
- Shred the pork using two forks, discarding any large pieces of fat.
- Stir through BBQ sauce and return to oven uncovered for 15 minutes.
- Pile into brioche buns and top with coleslaw. Serve immediately.
